1-Day Building a Stong Painting Foundation
Developing a solid foundation is an important part of growing as an artist. This workshop will focus on helping students develop the tools needed for growing as a painter and artist. The class is structured for beginner to advanced students who want to strong thier painting with purpose and a plan. This workshop is very hands on, with an emphasis on easel side critiques. Giving instruction is important, but showing students how this instruction applies to their individual work is crucial. Based on the student’s level and goals, we will develop a program for improving each individual’s ability as a painter.

Putting passion and emotion into a painting is far more important then just making a copy of your subject.
Depending on your level and goals we will try to develop a program for improving your ability as a painter. My goal as an instructor is to give my students the foundation necessary to express themselves.
